Summary

Humanity is on the brink of extinction. From New York to Moscow and Jerusalem, the undead apocalypse continues to spread. As the end looms, a hardened few bands together to defeat the horde and outlive the dead. World War Z is a heart-pounding co-op third-person shooter for up to 4 players featuring swarms of hundreds of zombies. Based on the Paramount Pictures film, World War Z focuses on fast-paced gameplay while exploring new storylines from around the world.

Storyline

Loosely based on the novel and film of the same name, World War Z drops players into the chaos of a global zombie apocalypse, where a runaway infection has collapsed civilization and unleashed staggering hordes of the undead upon the world's cities. The cooperative third-person shooter follows small bands of ordinary survivors, four at a time, scattered across devastated locations around the globe, from the ruins of New York and the streets of Jerusalem to Moscow, Tokyo, Marseille, and beyond. In each embattled city, a group of civilians and holdouts bands together, each with their own reasons to keep fighting, struggling to endure against tides of ravenous zombies that surge and swarm in overwhelming numbers, even climbing over one another to reach their prey. Facing impossible odds, the survivors must fortify positions, complete desperate objectives, and carve a path through the swarm as they fight simply to see another day in a world overrun by the dead.
