Set in the Star Trek universe in the years following Star Trek: Nemesis, Resurgence is a choice-driven adventure aboard the Federation starship USS Resolute. The story is told through two very different members of its crew: Commander Jara Rydek, the ship's newly appointed first officer still finding her footing among veteran colleagues, and Petty Officer Carter Diaz, a recent addition to the engineering team eager to prove himself. The Resolute is assigned a delicate diplomatic mission, escorting the venerable Ambassador Spock as he attempts to mediate a bitter dispute between two once-peaceful civilizations quarreling over valuable mining claims. What begins as a tense but manageable negotiation soon curdles into something far more sinister, as the crew comes to suspect that an unseen third party is secretly manipulating both sides toward conflict for its own hidden ends. Caught between duty, loyalty, and mounting danger, Rydek and Diaz must navigate a deepening conspiracy that threatens to spiral beyond anyone's control.
