Life on Donkey Kong Island is thrown into turmoil when a group of sinister creatures known as the Tiki Tak Tribe arrives on its shores. Using enchanting, hypnotic music, the Tikis bewitch the island's many animals and bend them to their will, commanding the mesmerized creatures to steal Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong's beloved hoard of bananas. Fortunately for the heroic apes, Donkey Kong proves stubbornly resistant to the Tikis' spellbinding tunes, leaving him free to fight back. Determined to recover every last piece of their pilfered fruit, Donkey Kong teams up with his energetic buddy Diddy Kong and sets off on a sprawling adventure. Together, the pair charge across the island's many varied worlds, from lush jungles and sandy beaches to fiery volcanoes and ancient ruins, in hot pursuit of the mischievous Tiki Tak Tribe.
